MERCURY Trainig Visit, 05 - 07 July 2010, Alicante, Spain
A training entitled 'Intellectual Property Rights issues in collaborative research projects and technology transfer' was held at the University of Alicante on 5th and 6th July 2010.
The main aim of the workshop was to provide practical training to the newly selected staff of the IP Units of the participating Universities from Moldova, Russia and Ukraine on how to manage IP issues when it comes to R&D projects and technology transfer. Therefore the IPR-Helpdesk legal team provided insights in how IP issues are regulated in EU funded research projects, while experts from the technology transfer office of the University of Alicante offered practical examples and hands-on advice.
