MERCURY - IPR Training Visit at Jagiellonian University of Krakow, 04-05 November 2010, Krakow, Poland

A training entitled 'IPR Regulations for Higher Education Institutions' took part at at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland on 4th and 5th November 2010. The training was held by researches of  Intellectual Property Law Institute: prof. dr hab. Michał du Vall, dr Justyna Ożegalska-Trybalska, dr Dariusz Kasprzycki, dr Tomasz Targosz, mgr Yanina Khanova and mgr Jakub Chwalba.

The main aim of the workshop was to provide participants with detailed information on the regulatory framework for IP management in Higher Education Institutions. Therefore the relevant intellectual property provisions governing the IP management process were presented with special focus on academic employees' creations and process of exploitation of IP results. In addition, staff members of IP offices were trained on practical issues coming from internal Jagiellonian University IP regulation as well as good practices on IP management identified during survey done by Intellectual Property Law Institute employees.
