MERCURY Study Visit at Jagiellonian University of Krakow, 04-05 June 2009, Krakow, Poland
The first Study Visit within the project was held at the Jagiellonian University of Krakow. One of the project partners, the Intellectual Property Law Institute, organized several project related presentations on IPR issues (see agenda).
The Director of the Intellectual Property Law Institute, Prof. Dr. hab. Ryszard Markiewicz, welcomed the delegation from Ukraine, Moldowa and Russia. The different presentations were followed by questions and fruitful discussions on several topics.
On the second working day, the participants had an opportunity to visit the Centre for Innovation, Technology Transfer and University Development, the Entrepreneurship Incubator and the newly built Lifescience Park.
The highly informative study visit was rounded up by a social programme giving the guests an impression of the city and its historical and cultural surroundings. The participants also visited the Jagiellonian University museum, which provides the best introduction to the University's history.
