MERCURY 2nd Coordination Meeting, 10 February 2011, Chisinau, Moldova
The second Coordination Meeting took place at Moldova State University (MSU) on 10 February 2011. The participants were welcomed by Mr. Revenco Vice Rector of MSU and Mrs. Muntyan, Deputy Director of the State Agency of Intellectual Property of Moldova.
The agenda of the meeting featured two major aspects: the results of the second project period and forthcoming activities of the third project year. In a very productive morning session, a presentation on the different training activities and establishments of the IPR offices in 2010 was given by the project coordinator. The other participants took the floor as well and expressed their impressions about the second project year and the related activities. In general, the second year was evaluated positively; it was stated that communication was flowing effectively and that partners benefited from the project activities. In addition to that, Ms Paulus informed participants about the current state of administrative and financial issues. After the break participants discussed activities envisaged for the third year of the project. Main priorities will be the publication of the Study "Knowledge Triangle Education-Research-Innovation: European experiences and their application in Russian, Ukrainian and Moldavian Universities" as well as national and regional dissemination workshops.
The project coordinator, Ms Moshnyagul, und the local coordinator, Mr Gaugas, gave television (Moldova One) and radio (Radio Moldova) interviews about the objectives of the MERCURY project.
The Coordination Meeting was also attended by Mr Lysenko form the Representative Office of Russian Cooperation in Moldova.
